Glades Christian Church
Building Use Policy for Weddings


1. All weddings will be scheduled by contacting the church office at 859-986-1421. The regular Church Building Use Policy will followed unless otherwise stipulated here.

2. Building Use Fees:
There is no Building Use Fee for actively attending members of Glades Christian Church
The Building Use Fee for all others is $200 for the main auditorium, and $200 for the Gathering Place. This fee is to be paid no later than 10 days prior to the reserved date. $100 of each fee will be returned upon successful completion of cleanup and inspection of the facilities.

3. Custodial Fees:
For actively attending members, a Custodial Fee of $50 will be assessed for use of each building, unless prior arrangements are made to do the cleanup themselves.

4. Reservations will not be confirmed until fees are paid.

5. Any wedding service that is conducted by a minister who is not on the staff of Glades Christian Church must be approved in advance.

6. No fasteners are to be used on the furniture, woodwork or walls.

7. Nothing is to be placed on or near musical instruments, sound equipment or woodwork without protective trays.

8. A protective covering is to be placed under candles and candelabra to prevent damage from dripping wax.

9. Throwing of rice or bird seed inside of church buildings is prohibited.

10. Smoking is not allowed inside any church facility.

11. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on the premises. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the immediate expulsion of all parties and forfeiture of all fees.

12. Any broken or abused property will be replaced or repaired immediately.

13. The parties requesting to have a wedding at Glades Christian Church must sign an acknowledgement that they have read and agree to the terms of the Building Use and Wedding Policies at the time the fee is paid, or before.
